Webinar: The Effects of Prenatal Methamphetamine Exposure

In 2017, it was estimated that there were over 5,000 drug-exposed infants born in California. In this webinar, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center’s Dr. Lynne Smith discusses the effects of prenatal methamphetamine exposure, including:

  • effects on somatic growth and neurodevelopment
  • prenatal and postnatal environmental factors that influence the effects of prenatal methamphetamine exposure

This webinar was recorded November 5, 2019, for Registered Nurses in the Welcome Baby program, which is part of the First 5 LA-funded Family Strengthening Network in Los Angeles County.
