. That’s the deadline to apply for California’s financial assistance to help cover unpaid rent or utilities. Applications are kept private, and the program is open to all, regardless of immigration status. Just visit HousingIsKey.com or call 833-430-2122 to apply before the March 31 deadline. Separately, see this website or call 800-DIAL-DWP to see if you’re eligible for one of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s utility discount programs.
