Celebrate Home Visiting Day 2024!

On April 19, 2024, Los Angeles County will celebrate Home Visiting Day once again! This year’s theme: “Strengthening Families, One Visit at a Time.” The day is a special opportunity to recognize the hard work of our heroic home visitors and all home visiting staff — and to highlight the life-changing results for families who participate in these free programs.

Supervisor Hilda L. Solis will introduce a motion at the April 9th Board of Supervisors meeting to proclaim April 19, 2024, Home Visiting Day in L.A. County. This will mark the third year the Board of Supervisors has helped bring awareness to the work of home visiting.

At the city level, various home visiting agencies and partners are encouraging their elected officials to recognize Home Visiting Day. How can you help spread the word? Rally your team to promote Home Visiting Day and record a video testimonial.
