Webinar: The WIC Card and App Are Coming!
California WIC participants have some exciting new things to look forward to. On November 11, 2019, WIC participants in the South Bay will be the first L.A. County residents to access California’s new WIC debit card and mobile app — a system that will replace the paper check method currently used to redeem benefits. The rest of L.A. County’s WIC participants can expect to see the card and app roll out in their communities by January 2020.
In this webinar (watch video recording below), PHFE-WIC’s Pina Hernandez and Samar McGregor discuss the California WIC Card and mobile app, including steps participants are encouraged to take before the card is introduced in their area.
