Greetings, Family Strengthening Network teams!
We can’t wait to celebrate you at our annual summit on June 2, 9:00am – 12:30pm!
This year’s theme is Standing Strong With Families in Los Angeles County — and sometimes you’ve had to be strong just to keep standing.
But, of course, you’ve done more than just stand there — you’ve led families to higher ground. You’ve made sacrifices to continue caring for some of the most vulnerable people. You’ve comforted those in pain who have suffered losses. And you’ve brought joy and given confidence to new parents who say they would have been lost without you.
When things go wrong, don’t go with them. We’re so glad that’s your M.O.!

A big shout out to Dr Burrell who set the Summit on fire. Your story & energy is inspirational & inspiring! From getting kicked out of therapy, learning to navigate your trauma, while being a single mom, to obtaining a Doctorate is truly a testament to your Resiliency! My take aways from today was: Rest, Reset, Return & the Power of Mentorship to empower the families we serve! You can’t do better until you know better!
