Guaranteed Income Pilot Program for City of L.A. Residents
10-day application period: October 29 – November 7
To qualify, applicants must live within the City of L.A., have an income at or below the federal poverty level, have at least one dependent child or be pregnant, be at least 18 years of age or older and have experienced financial and/or medical hardships related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Those selected will receive a $1,000 monthly stipend for a year. You can read more here.

Share your experience with Medi-Cal or MCAP premiums! Pregnant individuals and families covered by Medi-Cal, we want to hear from you. Children Now is a statewide organization that helps children and families. They want to learn how you feel about monthly Medi-Cal premiums so they can work to improve policies for families. This contest is focused on promoting positive parenting and moving away from the use of physical punishment. Contestants create and submit persuasive anti-physical punishment social media materials for a chance to win a prize. Winners will be announced on December 1st.
