New Welcome Baby Activity Book for Children
Grab your coloring pencils — we just released a Welcome Baby activity book for children! It’s a fun way to include the new (or future) baby’s siblings and keep them entertained during home visits. Print out the book and share it with clients who have other children.
The activity book includes:
- Multiple coloring pages
- A word search
- Fun facts about baby elephants (why not?!)

The development of this book was a collaborative effort. Lynnette Bello and Kely Joaquin from the Welcome Baby program at MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach gave us the nudge and provided helpful resources. We also want to give a special thanks to LA Best Babies Network’s Administrative Coordinator, Arcenia Ochoa Vega, for taking the lead on developing this book.
On the last page, we also share how families can access resources to help their older children adjust to life with the new baby.
