Webinar: How Home Visiting Programs Can Support NICU Families

NICU babies need lots of support, but so do their caregivers.

“Premature babies give us premature parents,” said Esther Chon, who, along with Sharon Tan, led a webinar (below) on how to help caregivers who have a baby in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Drs. Chon and Tan are psychologists and infant mental health specialists who work with parents in the NICU of Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Long Beach, California.

Recorded November 20, 2017, their webinar was presented to Welcome Baby staff and home visitors in Los Angeles County’s Family Strengthening Network.
