Webinar: Navigating the Medi-Cal Redetermination Process
As part of the COVID-19 pandemic public health emergency, Medi-Cal beneficiaries could keep their coverage regardless of any changes in their circumstances. This provision ended on March 30, 2023, and the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) resumed its annual redetermination process to determine if a Medi-Cal beneficiary is still eligible to receive benefits.
So what does this mean for Medi-Cal members? And is there anything they need to do to ensure they keep their coverage? In this webinar, Dayna Zamora — Medi-Cal Product Solutions Manager with L.A. Care Health Plan — answers these questions and more. She outlines in detail:
- Continuous coverage and the resumption of Medi-Cal renewals
- The annual Medi-Cal renewal process
- Key messages home visiting staff can share with the families they serve
