Pregnant in L.A. County? Find free support at WelcomeBabySupport.org

It’s now easier than ever for pregnant people in L.A. County to get connected to the Welcome Baby program’s free support services. If you work with families who are expecting, make sure they check out WelcomeBabySupport.org.

The site explains the benefits of the First 5 LA-funded Welcome Baby program, and includes a quick and easy way for families to connect to their hospital’s program. If they’re not delivering at a participating hospital, the site will lead them to HomeVisitingLA.org’s eDirectory, which includes more options for free prenatal and postpartum support.

“Home visiting” in the time of COVID?

Before the pandemic, Welcome Baby and its partner home visiting programs provided in-person visits. Right now, all visits are done virtually, so one-on-one support is still available right from the couch or kitchen table.

In these challenging times, all expecting families can use a little extra support. Please let them know it’s out there!
